What are the precautions for daily use of self priming pumps?

1. Firstly, check whether the bolts are loose, whether the power cord and plug are intact, and whether the insulation resistance of the motor should be greater than 2 megaohms.

2. To prevent electric shock accidents, corresponding security measures such as leakage circuit breakers or electric shock protectors must be installed and reliably grounded.

3. The working voltage range of the self priming pump must be between+5% and -12% of the rated voltage, otherwise it will shorten the service life of the motor or burn it out. If the electric pump is used far from the power source, the power transmission line should be appropriately thickened, otherwise the voltage will drop and it will not be able to operate.

4. Turn on the power switch and let the pump idle for about 2 minutes to check for normal startup, operation, and correct steering.

5. Secure the pump body with steel pipes or rubber hoses (not too soft to avoid flattening); Connect the water inlet and bottom valve, and the bottom valve must be placed perpendicular to the horizontal plane, at least 30Cm away from the bottom of the water to avoid absorbing sediment.

6. Before first use, the water storage tank should be filled with water. After being powered on for several tens of seconds, it cannot automatically discharge water, and there is no need to fill it in for future use.

7. When using, the motor should be kept dry, pay attention to the water level drop, and the bottom valve should not be exposed outside the water surface. When the temperature is below 40 ° C. Antifreeze measures should be taken to prevent freezing and cracking of the pump body.

8. If not in use for a period of time, the accumulated water in the pump should be drained (self priming pumps and automatic pumps should be emptied to store water in the water tank); Wipe the main components clean, apply anti rust oil, and place them in a ventilated and dry place for future use.
