Method of maintaining the electric device of the valve

2023年07月15日

The electric valve device, like the electrical equipment used in daily life, also needs to be cleaned and protected to achieve the purpose of extending its lifespan. We must ensure that the equipment is in a clean, smooth contact, complete, and normal operating condition all year round.

Protection methods

1. Smooth: The trapezoidal threads of valve electric equipment, the sliding parts of valve stem nut and bracket, the meshing parts of bearings, gears and worm gears, worm gears, and other cooperative moving parts all require excellent smooth conditions to reduce conflicts and prevent mutual wear. Some parts are specially equipped with oil cups or nozzles. If they are damaged or lost during operation, they should be corrected and fully equipped, and the oil circuit should be unblocked. Smooth parts should be refueled regularly according to the specific environment. Frequently opened, high temperature valve electric equipment is suitable for blocking refueling once a week to a month, and not frequently opened. Valve electric equipment with low temperature can have a longer refueling cycle.

2. Protection: The electric equipment of the valve in operation should have all kinds of valve components intact and intact. The bolts on the flange and bracket should not be missing, and the threads should be intact and not loose.

3. Cleaning: The surface of the valve electric equipment, the trapezoidal threads on the valve stem and valve stem nut, the sliding parts of the valve stem nut and bracket, as well as components such as gears, worm gears, etc., are prone to accumulation of dust, oil stains, and media residues, which can cause wear and detachment of the valve electric device. Therefore, it is often necessary to maintain the cleanliness of the external and moving parts of the valve electric equipment, and to protect the integrity of the valve electric equipment paint.

Some actuators do not have external power supply, so we can manually drive them. But most actuators have a visual orientation indicator to show whether the electric actuator and the connected valve have opened. And many valves have internal electronic switches or relays to indicate the direction of opening or closing.
