Application

▪  Diaphragm valves, manually or pneumatically operated, are specifically designed for hygiene and aseptic processes in the pharmaceutical industry.

▪  This valve is very suitable for fluid control and switching tasks.

▪  Compared with other valve designs, this diaphragm valve is easier to clean, handles materials with particles well, and has fewer air pockets in flow control applications.

Operational principle

▪  The diaphragm provides valve body sealing and valve seat sealing. There is no path inside that leads to the external environment, so this valve is suitable for aseptic processes.

▪  When the valve is closed, the pressure pad supporting the diaphragm moves towards the sealing surface on the valve body. When the pressure plate moves, the diaphragm bends. Forced to push towards the valve seat area in the center of the valve body. Therefore, the fluid path to the valve body was closed.

▪  The mutual relationship between the valve body and pressure plate prevents the compression of the diaphragm.

▪  This valve can be manually or pneumatically operated, as well as controlled by a controller and solenoid valve.
